Such an amazing, diverse country. Strange to think that even 20 years ago you could go a whole year and not read about it in the newspapers. Not anymore. I just hope it maintains its sense of wonder and appeal.
Favourite city: Melbourne
Favourite coast: south of Fremantle, WA
Favourite ‘big thing’: the big sheep on the way to Canberra (can’t remember where exactly!)
Love that sheep! Pretty sure you’re thinking of the one in Goulburn :D Gotta love Australia for our quirky roadside attractions!

I’m so glad! We were there one year and the fireworks display was amazing – Sydney really goes all out!

My favorite holiday of the year :)
Wow, great pictures! I especially love the yawning koala… I wish I could adopt one, but of course it’s not possible. And it would be a bad idea! Keep up the good work:)
Thanks Alex! Yawning Koala is my favorite – I don’t know what it is, but I think animals looks so adorable with their mouths open lol!!
You may not be able to adopt one, but you can definitely visit wildlife sanctuaries and interact and hug them … we recently returned from a trip to Kangaroo Island off South Australia, and had the most amazing wildlife experiences, including koalas. Highly recommend as a great wildlife spot in Aus :)
Your pictures are so great that I might add one or two on my Pinterest:)
Thanks Elodie! We would love that :)
Lovely snaps of Australia – particularly the wildlife. The birds can be amazing colours
Thanks Aodhan! If you’re not a bird nerd before you visit Australia, you definitely will be afterwards :D!
