A lot of the time while traveling, a wallet is too big and bulky. You need something thin, light, small, and easily accessible to carry cash and credit cards, which won’t be the target of theft.
In 10 years of traveling I’ve been through multiple backpacks, compact purses, and more money belts than you can imagine, however I’ve been incredibly impressed with the minipocket, and have found myself using it again and again.
While an incredibly simple concept, it’s honestly quite genius. The minipocket is a mini wallet. It’s thin, flexible and durable and fits inside almost any pocket. It’s water resistant and made out of general purpose vinyl which is made from recyclable material. It’s unisex and it’s cheap.
It’s the perfect solution to storing valuables on your person – because items are not visible and tucked away, you’re less of a target for thieves. It’s made juggling carry-on luggage during security checks a breeze, and not having to carry bulky items while hiking has been amazing.
Mine stores my credit cards, ID, cash and hotel room keys, with the best part being removable dividers to prevent demagnetization.
Travel tip: Don’t keep hotel keys next to credit cards or mobile phones as this will often cause them to demagnetize – meaning they won’t open your room anymore!
But the best use of all? Ladies, it’s small enough to slip nicely into your boots on a night out dancing abroad!

Great little wallet. I am thinking about buying one. Perfect sized wallet to protect yourself from being pick pocketed.
Love the boot! :-)
The boot is my favorite little trick! I hate taking handbags out with me when I go out dancing :D
That looks fantastic, thanks for highlighting such a useful travel product! I tend to carry a bulky bag with me but this will save me having to keep an eye out for pickpockets and avoid the hassle of carrying around to much junk!
Thanks Charli – I love it :) Really does eliminate all of the junk we don’t need to carry with us!
