As one of seven travel bloggers recently chosen to take a Round the World trip inspired by the new Star Alliance travel itineraries, we’ve been having a blast making our way through the jungles of Singapore, the shark infested waters of South Africa, with exotic locales like Venice, Vienna, Barcelona, Cancun, Buenos Aires and Auckland to come!
But now it’s YOUR chance to travel the world, and Star Alliance are giving away an epic prize this month: two Round the World tickets, in business class!
They’ve sent seven of us on their RTW journeys. If you can tell them correctly where we’ve all been, based on the photos shown on their site, you’re in the running for the chance to embark on your own trip of a lifetime!
The Prize
One winner will win 2 Star Alliance Round the World Business Class tickets. The tickets will be booked by Star Alliance for the winners for 2 people on the same chosen itinerary (not booked individually).
The Prize is for flights only, and Marriott International will be providing the winners with a Marriott Platinum Elite Status for a year! Member benefits of being Platinum Elite include additional bonus rewards points for each stay, complimentary room upgrades, complimentary enhanced in-room Internet access, guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, and guaranteed lounge access and breakfast for two (when you stay at a property under the Marriott brand obviously)!
The Prize must be confirmed and the itinerary chosen by 31st December 2016, and you need to book and travel by 31st December 2017.

Visit staralliance.com/whereintheworld and enter the “Guess the Location” competition.
7 bloggers have travelled the globe and you will need to guess the respective location as shown on the bloggers’ photos. Entrants can visit the individual blogger’s site for hints on the location depicted on the photos.
You’ll see pictures from seven different destinations (all from our itineraries). If you can identify all seven locations correctly, you and a friend could be visiting them yourselves!
You can only enter once (per email address) so make sure you’ve been following each blogger’s updates to make sure you have it right! (Watch for stories labeled #StarAllianceRTW and #RTWTraveler on our social channels.

Nice prize. Business Class tickets are like GOLD and the Marriott Platinum benefits sound like they’re worth entering the competition for. I always get excited when I get upgraded! I’ll definitely have a go! By the way, where in the world are you right now Megan?
The upgrades from being Platinum are fantastic – the rooms we’ve been fortunate enough to stay in throughout this trip so far are beyond our wildest dreams!

Hi Marie :) Star Alliance is an airline alliance with 28 member airlines which fly throughout 1,300 destinations. So for instance if you fly New Zealand Air but have a frequent flier account with Singapore Air, you can claim those rewards points. Or obviously in this case, book a round the world trip on the one ticket taking in multiple airlines and destinations. It’s a fabulous alliance :)
