You’ve done it again Megan, made me put yet another place on my bucket list. I can’t wait to see those cute Puffins. The colours in your photos are brilliant.
This reminds me a lot of Newfoundland- the charming houses, the rolling green hills, and the cute puffins!
Truly great views! And yes, please I want to go! Can I fly tomorrow?
Oh my! Faroe Islands are one of my dream places too!
And these pics are marvellous. You make me so want to go there straight away.
I also love that you’ve been able to see/photograph the puffins so close: I’ve also seen them on Farne Island in England but couldn’t portrait them this well.
Those colours! Those puffins! That shoreline! The Faroe Islands look just incredible!
Ok, I admit it…I had no idea where the Faroe Islands were before your post and looking it up on Google Maps. You’d think after being all over the world I’d at least know this…but no.
And Puffins…what is not to love about Puffins!
Awesome pictures. If you can guarantee a warm non-rainy day I might go. I get separation anxiety from my shorts and sandals when we part for too long…
Those puffins are ADORABLE! I want to go there for the puffins alone! The photos are amazing, everything is just so green!
Gorgeous! The first photo I particularly like – the red roofs and other red accent pop against that vibrant green. Amazing.
Awesome collection of pictures Meg of the Faroe Islands! I love the color enhancements you made and of course that puffin picture along with all the others you have shared on social media is a perfect moment. I honestly don’t know much about this part of Europe aside from after seeing all your pictures it makes me want to go there.
It really looks like a relaxing abode with so much beautiful landscape and widlife to experience. Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing your other posts/pictures on here.
I love that it’s so green and that the houses are so colorful there. I’m fearing that the Faroe Islands will become the next big tourist attraction within Europe but at least I hope that the locals will be able to live their lives without too much stirr up from the tourism industry…the puffin pic is gorgeous, somehow I was in Iceland always too late in the season to see them from such a close distance …
too many factual info. Says Gjógv, when the village is Funningur. Says the village of Mykines when tha village is Gásadalur – but anywhay, nice islands!
Beautiful pictures! We would love to visit the Faroe Islands someday. Looks absolutely gorgeous.
